About NAFI

The National Agriculture & Food Incubator (NAFI) provides customised training and connects its participants with experienced mentors, student-interns, industry-based customers, government programs, management and consultancy services, and a curated pool of early-stage investors.

NAFI will help high potential early-stage Food- and Ag-tech companies become investment-ready and secure the capital they need.

Agriculture is considered one of the Federal Government’s five pillars contributing to Australia building and sustaining a world-class economy. It is a large and growing sector accounting for 12% of GDP and 1.6 million Australian jobs (half of which are in regional Australia).

Where do NAFI’s participants come from?

NAFI will draw on its existing innovation-ecosystem stakeholders including corporations, universities, research institutes, Research & Development Corporations and its entrepreneur- and SME-networks, (including unincorporated commercial opportunities) along with established early-stage companies, to create a pipeline of potential participants.
